Using this website
The content on this site, including text, images, and illustrations, belongs to City Furnace Mechanical or is used with permission. You are welcome to browse, share links, and print pages for personal use. Please do not copy our content for commercial purposes without asking first.
Product names and logos such as Armstrong Air, Navien, Rheem, and MagicPak belong to their respective manufacturers. Their appearance on this site reflects the equipment we install and service, and does not imply any ownership on our part.
Information on this site
We work hard to keep everything on this site accurate and current, including service descriptions, product details, and efficiency figures. Even so, equipment specifications, rebate programs, and code requirements change over time. The information here is general guidance, not a formal recommendation for your specific home or building. For advice about your situation, contact us and we will assess it properly.
Quotes and estimates
Prices shown or discussed before an on-site assessment are estimates. A final quote is confirmed after we have seen the job, and we will always give you the full price before any work begins. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote itself. There is no obligation attached to requesting or receiving one.
Scheduling and service
We book appointments based on availability and do our best to fit urgent heating issues into the day's schedule. If we need to reschedule for any reason, we will let you know as early as we can, and we ask the same courtesy from you. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible.
Permits, inspections, and code
Furnace and gas appliance work in Alberta requires proper permits and inspection. We pull the required permits and have our work inspected as part of every applicable job. This is included in how we operate, and we will not skip it at a customer's request.
Payment
Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit requirements are stated on your quote or invoice. Invoices are due as indicated on the invoice itself.
Warranties
Equipment we install is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and we will help you register it and understand what it covers. Our workmanship is guaranteed as described in your quote or service agreement. Warranty coverage may depend on proper permits, inspection, and regular maintenance, which is one more reason we always do those things right.
Limitation of liability
We stand behind our work. At the same time, to the extent permitted by law, City Furnace Mechanical is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law in Alberta.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we will post the new version here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Privacy
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect only the information needed to respond and provide service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle it.
