Privacy policy

What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: your name, a phone number or an email address, and whatever you tell us about the job. Everything else on that form is optional, including the city, the postal code and how you prefer to be contacted.
We do not run analytics on this site. We do not set cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising tags, or social media widgets. Nothing about your visit is recorded unless you send us a request.
Why we collect it
To answer you. That is the whole purpose. We use your details to prepare a quote, to ask the questions we need answered to give you one, and to arrange a visit if you decide to go ahead.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send you anything you did not ask for.
Who sees it
Our office. The form sends your request by email to City Furnace Mechanical, and it is handled by the people who do the work.
The email is delivered by Resend, an email service provider, which processes the message in order to deliver it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Your request stays in our email, alongside the rest of the correspondence about your job, for as long as we may reasonably need it: to do the work, to honour a warranty, and to meet the record keeping that our trade and the tax rules require.
If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask us and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the number below and we will sort it out with you directly.
You are never required to use the form. If you would rather not put anything in writing, call us and tell us about the job instead.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted on its way to us. Your request is not stored in a database on this website: it becomes an email and lives in our inbox.
No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that we do not collect more than we need, which is the only real protection against losing something we should not have had.
Changes to this policy
If we start collecting something new, or start using a new service to handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
